Letters to Policy Makers

This is a joint letter from a number of European Civil Society Networks to Members of the European Parliament ahead of the crucial Projects on Common Interest, to be voted on in ITRE Wednesday 22/1/2020 ar 10am, asking them to exclude fossil gas projects.

The letter urges Members of the European Parliament to vote against the 4th PCI list as it:

- Gives highest EU priority to fossil gas projects

- Allows fossil gas project to apply for EU funds

- Is not compatible with the goals of the Paris Agreement or the European Green Deal
